“I can’t breathe.”

These three words have come to mean so much to so many people across this country and the world. People are filled with passion for a cause, mourning, grieving, and many who haven’t said much are now saying enough is enough.

George Floyd can no longer breathe, and neither can Ahmed Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and too many others. But we can. We send our condolences to the families of these people and others impacted by violence and injustices. We stand with the Black community and are dedicated to helping fight racism and injustice.

This country was founded on the principle that all men are created equal and that all men, women, and children should be treated as such. No community in our country should live in fear of racial discrimination, prejudice, or violence.

It’s our job to ask questions, exercise our rights to free speech, and constructively do our part to help move our country and communities forward and to end racism in all forms. To that end, we will continue to give our time to our community and support local organizations that are positively impacting our community and schools. TODAY, we are supporting the YWCA of Silicon Valley with a donation. The YWCA provides services for women, families, schools, and children and is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. https://ywca-sv.org/

We believe in the goodness of the American People. We believe that the vast majority of our law enforcement officers are good, decent human beings. We support them and thank all of our first responders who put their lives on the line for us every day.

We don’t know what the future holds. Still, we can commit that as long as we all can breathe, we will continue to support the causes of ending racism, being an inclusive employer, and affecting our communities as best we can for good, as individuals, and as a company.

We all hurt right now. We will not forget how this feels. We will stand up for good.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope that together we will see the day when racism has been made a thing of the past in our country.
